J.M. Smucker recalled select Jif peanut butter varieties Friday due to salmonella.

Recalled peanut butter was sold nationwide. Lot codes 1274425-2140425 are recalled. 

The best-if-used-by date includes lot codes.

"Consumers should immediately dispose of products matching the above description," the company said.
